Foraging Courses
Foraging walks are £35 per adult and last 2.5 – 3 hrs (including foraged snacks/picnic). Children under 13 are £15. I send out a PDF after the walk with further information detailing all the plants we have found. Foraging and cooking workshops are £50pp.

8th October 2023 – 10am Start
(10am start/2.5 hours approx.) – Autumn forest walk – Central Wight
We will walk through woodland and discover autumnal fruits, nuts and seeds. We will also notice emerging early winter greens. Think berries, seeds and nettles….

23rd April 2023 – Foraging and Cooking Workshop – 9am start
9am start (3.5/4hours approx.) Foraging and cooking workshop – Shalfleet village hall.
Come and wander around the grounds of the village hall and local footpaths whilst I teach you about the abundant wild edibles available. Then go out and apply your new found skills to locate seasonal ingredients (under my watchful eye) to cook ourselves a wild lunch, which we will all eat together in the beautiful 18th century barn conversion. There will be a nettle soup and wild weedy pesto (or salad) and probably cake to be cooked amongst many other fresh delights. Age 16+.
